Why we’re here

We opened our doors on Park Avenue in Seaford on June 29, 2022, with a ribbon cutting and tours of our new facility.

Our goal hasn’t changed since: to give every pet the highest standard of care and professionalism, and to give their families the comfort and security of bringing them home.

Everyone at Heavenly Gates is a pet owner. We know that losing a dog, a cat or any companion can hurt as much as losing any member of the family, and we treat every pet in our care as one of our own.

Part of the community

We sponsor local events like Paws on Pemberton, Bark on the Boards in Rehoboth Beach and the Fur & Field Day at the Wicomico County Humane Society. In 2024 our team won “Best Animal Entry” in Laurel’s Fourth of July parade.

At our free pet portrait days, we match every donation and give it to local humane societies. We also serve animal clinics and rescue teams across Delaware, Maryland and the Eastern Shore of Virginia.
